David + Kelle are engaged

Kelle and David were a referral from my good friend Ron Miller. I was happy to be able to help them out when Ron was booked. Kelle and David were such a fun couple and we rocked the engagement shoot out at the Ghost Town. I guess I never realized it before but once David pointed it out to me there are a ton of Coke memorabilia out there. David’s Dad used to work for them so that was fun. I’m really looking forward to their wedding at Canyon Gate later this year. Enjoy the sneak peek and can’t wait for you to see the rest.

Philip + Victoria are engaged

I think I have mentioned this before but at the Bridal Shows this Jan. There were a few couples that we met and we knew right away they were our type of couple. Philip and Victoria were one of those couples. When they walked away from our booth I went up to Doug and said “I really want to photograph their wedding!” After the engagement session there wasn’t any doubt about it. They met by chance while Victoria was in town for a dermatology convention. (I didn’t even know there was such a thing But thanks to that convention and a cousin of Philip’s they were able to meet. The rest is history. Doug and I will be photographing their wedding in November and it is going to be so much fun. Enjoy the sneak peek and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of them!

Terry + Sharon are married

Enjoy this sneak peek from a wedding in the Aria Suites. Some couples want to get married in Vegas but don’t want to get married in a chapel. We recommend saving money on the chapel and just rent a cool suite in a hotel of your choice to get married in. Normally Doug shoots these weddings but Terry and Sharon wanted me. They came to Las Vegas from Australia on this amazing vacation. I think my favorite part about weddings with couples from Australia is hearing about their vacation they have planned. Because airfare is so much when they leave they stay gone for a while. It was great being part of their ceremony with a few close friends. Then we went for a drive down the strip. I know texting and driving is now illegal in Nevada but what about kissing and driving?

Kyle + Allison are married

Enjoy this sneak peek of wedding photos at the Springs Preserve. Kyle and Allison came to Las Vegas from Canada for an intimate wedding with friends and family. They wanted some romantic photos with the two of them and I was happy to help. We planned the shoot about 15 months out so I know Allison was looking forward to her wedding. You probably can’t tell from the photos below but it was extremely windy on their wedding day. Normally I don’t mention wind but I have to give Allison a huge complement. Allison was the perfect bride for a windy day because she did three things; she relaxed, trusted me and just rolled with it. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Amber + Tim are engaged

Happy Monday. The heat has been rolling in but I can’t complain because the wind had finally died down. Amber and Tim’s wedding is next month at Red Rock Country Club. I’m happy to feature their engagement session. We were able to connect by chance and I feel honored to be part of their wedding. They didn’t really have engagements in mind when we booked the wedding but if you follow my work you know it’s so important for me to get to do a session with my couples and build a relationship. With Tim and Amber I truly feel we connected on our session and the wedding is going to be so much better because of it. My favorite from this session is the second to last photo. I met Tara last year while I was photographing a wedding. She was one of my brides bridesmaids. I was so happy to hear that once they got engaged Tara and James want us to capture their wedding. I went over to their house to meet with them and talk about the timeline for the wedding. I always ask my couples if there was one thing that represents who they are so I can photograph it. James then pulls a mask out and tells me this is what people know him by. I of course tell him he has to bring it to the engagement session. They showed up with two masks and I loved it! Steve + Ashley are engaged

Steve and Ashley came to Las Vegas from Maryland for wedding scouting trip. I was happy to get them some photos for save the dates and engagements. We went to one of the local parks for some fun shots. The whole time all Steve wanted to do was play with champagne. I was all for it because I love to have fun but I know how messy it is. Because of that I had to make them wait until the very end of the shoot. I’m sure they both felt it was worth the wait! Can’t wait for your wedding next year at Cili. Enjoy the sneak peek.

Chris+Alisha are engaged

Alisha and Chris first inquired when Doug and I were on our way to Canada for a wedding last year. We were in the Denver Airport waiting for our flight. I remember sitting next to Doug and could hear how excited Alisha was as he talked to her on the phone. When we met for our consultation I just knew their wedding was going to be a blast. We got together for their engagements at Lake Las Vegas and now the wedding at Anthem Country Club is less than a month away. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Tony + Caitlin are engaged

Lets just say thanks to the Starbucks because it bought these two together. After many and I mean many trips to Starbucks Tony finally asked Caitlin out and they have been together over 6 years now. They are celebrating their special union with family and friends in a very cool way.
