Bridal Shoot at Ravella

The new year has come and January is almost over. I have rested and I am so excited for this wedding season. This is our first year being part of the Bridal Show industry and we are excited to meet amazing local brides. Since we have become part of Bridal Spectacular family. Every year they get together and have models get all dressed up for us in amazing gowns and we get to photograph them. This year we went to Ravella. Which by the way there are so many beautiful hidden spots in this hotel. I cannot express how gorgeous this images turned out. I absolutely love taking the time for me and shooting for me. I will have to say I could have photographed Alex all day. She is one of the girls that are just beautiful inside and out.

Colin + Carlee Las Vegas Strip Wedding

There is not a better way to end the year then with a full blown Elvis wedding. I normally don’t photograph weddings in December but after Colin called me and express how much he loved my work I couldn’t say no. He said he wouldn’t disappoint and when I arrived to his hotel room he surely didn’t. Colin and Carlee went all out with the Pink Cadillac , powder blue suit and Elvis by their side, it was sure to be a fun wedding.

Colin if you ever decided to have a boy band this can be the cover.

Carlee hands down I love the vibe you set from the time I walked in the door.

Colin is a lucky guy. This picture was hand held at slow shutter of 4 seconds. That’s how I roll.

Gerard + Hyon are married

I have to start with the shoes. All girls love shoes and I think I love shoes more then everyone else. As a wedding photographer I get to see all of these amazing shoes. Hands down these are my favorite. The gold color photograph beautifully.

I am so glad when Doug is with me. Half of the time Doug is the one tying all the guys ties. So if you cant tie a tie b.c you are to nervous don’t worry Doug can do it.

Love this one of Hyon and Gerard. Totally fits their personalities.

Ok ya’ll this is my favorite, the vibe and romantic atmosphere is what I love.

Hyon and Gerard thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day. You guys were more then fun but an amazing couple to hang out with. Thanks for letting Doug and I be part of your big day.

Darren + Priya Indian Wedding

4 outfit changes, 2 ceremonies and a whole lot of dancing and celebrating is Darren and Priya’s wedding in a nutshell. I had not photographed a traditional Indian wedding ceremony before. But I have always wanted to to because of all the colors and details. I love seeing other cultures and traditions. Lets just say your wedding blew me away with everything. These beautiful photographs speak for themselves. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your big day!

So when the guys were willing to jump for me I knew then this was going to be a fun bridal party.

Priya you are breathtaking. I love this photo

Darren and Priya are dancing to their first dance and then the music changed and the whole bridal party rushed to the floor and started dancing. Then they break out to a mob dance. If you have never seen this before go you tube it. I loved it.

Ok so dad gets up to for a speech and the first thing he says is, Hi I’m dad and I write the checks. Thanks Dad Can I just say everyone in the floor was laughing.

Fi + Will = Married at 2810

The day finally came and I got to see one of my favorite couples again. This year I had a handful of couples that really didn’t have a time line for the day and wanted to just relax and enjoy the day. Fi and Will were one of those couples. On a side note as the photographer we tend to always worry about time and making sure we never run late for anything. That was not the case at all on this day. They rented out a cool residential place called 2810. The house is huge with amazing backyard and pool area.

When I showed up Fi was as calm as can be. Will was the running around. I think it was a great idea that Will took Fi’s phone so she didn’t have to worry about anything. After photographing their engagement session I knew the wedding day was going to be AMAZING. If you missed out on the engagement session you can see it here.

Fi words can not express how beautiful you looked. I loved every minute of your day. Thanks for letting Doug and I be part of it.

I have to tell the story behind the first look. One I have always loved first looks b.c its a moment before all the craziness starts. It is the moment that just the two of you are able to slow down the day just for a minute and embrace each other and get any nerves you have out. Plus the emotion cant get more real. This is the time I am quite and just photograph your emotion you show towards each other. So everything was going beautiful and then Fi plants a big one on Will. While her lipstick wasn’t dry all the way and leaves a good amount of red on Will. Which is not a big deal unless it is the stain on lipsticks. After a little hard scrubbing we were able to get the red off Will. I just love how it all played out.

Greg + Valerie are married / Red Rock Casino Resort

Let me just start with this image….. I absolutely love the first image. I had a few brides this year that let me photograph the way I know best. I love when my brides give me free range to capture the moments that I see.

Valerie and Greg were just fun and so down to earth. This is one of the earliest wedding I have shot and I will have to say I liked it. I showed up at 7:45 in the morning to start shooting getting ready shots. I loved every moment of the day there was noting rushed at all. Congratulations guys. Have a fun trip on your honeymoon.

Mathilde + Marc-Andre = Valley of Fire Wedding

Mathilde and Marc-Andre love to travel. They are from Quebec and French Canadian so they were a little nervous about speaking English. (Personally I thought they did amazing with their English since they hardly ever speak it back home.) They came to Las Vegas with plans of it being the first stop on their way to see multiple beautiful locations in California. At least that’s what their families thought. The first leg of the trip ended up being the start of an amazing honeymoon. Mathilde actually works for Marc-Andre’s father so hopefully the surprise announcement of their wedding will go over well with the boss! Because they both love the outdoors and nature they wanted a wedding in nature outside of Las Vegas. She found http://www.thelasvegasweddingcompany.com they specialize in outdoor weddings around Las Vegas. (Unlike most wedding companies around town they had no problem with an outside photographer.) This was the first time I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding at the Valley of Fire and I love how it turned out. Below I started out with a few of my favorites from there. We also played around in Las Vegas getting some fun shots around the Cosmopolitan. I really love being a wedding photographer of big weddings but it was nice change to spending so much time with just the bride and groom. Thank you two for letting Doug and I be part of your big day and special memories!

Spencer + Mirna are married – Siena Golf Club

Meet Spencer and Mirna. They started their journey together over 9 years ago when they met by chance at a bar in DC. Both of them were in their senior years at Georgetown University. I just love the story of how they met, traveled and loved each other through their beautiful journey. Not much can top a proposal in Paris at the Eiffel Tower.

On their big day they both got ready at the Red Rock Resort. After taking some amazing shots with both groups around Red Rock we headed over to Siena Golf Club for the wedding. It was a beautiful cloudy day in Las Vegas. Luckily we avoided the rain. We could see it all around us be never felt a drop. Spencer and Mirna’s love for each other must have kept the weather nice all day. You two are such a cute couple and it was our pleasure to capture the memories for your wedding. Keith + Rowena are married

Hey all, here is the follow up to Keith and Rowena’s engagements. I can’t think of a better way to follow up such fun engagement pictures with than showing off their amazing wedding photographs. I know I say it over and over but I love when I get to take engagements before the wedding it just makes everything so much better on the wedding day. If you missed their engagements check them out here. They said their I Do’s at the Mandalay Bay and we had a blast taking photos in there. Then we went to Mix Restaurant for some photos before their meal there. You will notice once we got the bridal party together for photos we had a blast. Graham + Jaime are married

As she looked in the mirror and smiled you could see the joy of what the day was about to bring. She put on her dress, looked up and asked if it was time. Right before she left to marry the man of her dreams she opened a letter from him saying I love you. She picked up her flowers and headed to the door…..

Relaxed and calm he shrugged off joke after joke from the guys about getting married. As his father helped him get ready for the best day of his life he knew without a shadow of a doubt, he was the luckiest man in the world. No one could ever convince him otherwise.

They met outside right before to whisper I love you. Then departed one last time. The next time they saw each other was when she was walking down the aisle with her father. The expression of happiness he had on his face was breath taking. They came together hand and hand as they said their I do’s. They jumped into the limo to head to their party to celebrate with their friends and family as husband and wife. The rest of the night was danced away.

These are just a few of the moments Doug and I were able to watch as we photographed Jaime and Graham’s wedding. I will have to say it was a beautiful wedding and all the details that Divine Events put into it… WOW. I had a great time working with so many great vendors in the community.
