We have met so many amazing people through photography this year. A big thank you to all of our brides and grooms this year. I know we have built many relationships that will last a life time. We are also grateful for all the vendors we have worked with. We have received so much support from family and friends that it makes me speechless. I just can’t begin to express our gratitude.

I believe this year has been one of my favorites. With my girls growing up so fast and our business blossoming (which we never thought it would grow this fast). We are looking forward to the amazing things we have coming next year. We are bringing on some amazing new associates, and new tips and tricks for those of you starting out in photography.

We are in Idaho to celebrate Christmas with Doug’s family and wanted to get some fun photos of us while we were here. Unfortunately it was 18 Degrees at 2:00pm while we were taking photos. Which really didn’t seem that cold until I looked at my kids fingers and they were bright red. I’m happy to say my children made it without frost bite on their poor little fingers. Bribery of Pop Rocks and Hot Coco helped them get through it.  The only thing I wanted for Christmas, but isn’t what every photographer wants,  a great picture of my family to hang. Well it isn’t a master piece and we only had the self timer thanks to wireless trigger going out half way through the shoot.  I love it, it is who we are.  Plus the last picture is an award winning photo in my eyes.  That is a defiantly a keeper.

P.S. Doug will probably kill me for saying this but oh well, while we were shooting he kept looking around. Finally I asked him why he was looking around and he says, “I don’t want any of my friends to drive by and see what I’m wearing.” HAHAH . I think he looked hot. Plus I dressed him.

All girls love shoes and I think I love shoes more then everyone else. As a wedding photographer I get to see all of these amazing shoes. Hands down these are my favorite. The gold color photograph beautifully.

I am so glad when Doug is with me. Half of the time Doug is the one tying all the guys ties. So if you cant tie a tie b.c you are to nervous don’t worry Doug can do it.

Love this one of Hyon and Gerard. Totally fits their personalities.

Ok ya’ll this is my favorite, the vibe and romantic atmosphere is what I love.

Hyon and Gerard thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day. You guys were more then fun but an amazing couple to hang out with. Thanks for letting Doug and I be part of your big day.

So when the guys were willing to jump for me I knew then this was going to be a fun bridal party.

Priya you are breathtaking. I love this photo

Darren and Priya are dancing to their first dance and then the music changed and the whole bridal party rushed to the floor and started dancing. Then they break out to a mob dance. If you have never seen this before go you tube it. I loved it.

Ok so dad gets up to for a speech and the first thing he says is, Hi I’m dad and I write the checks. Thanks Dad ;) Can I just say everyone in the floor was laughing.

Danielle was so shock and had no idea that he was going to propose which makes it even better.

This is my favorite part, after the whole shock the guy always tells the girl I am there taking pictures. You two are so cute together!

So I ended up shooting at the dry lake 3 times in one week. With the crazy winds Vegas always has out there it is totally just about the couple.  Dick and Nicole’s love is still fresh and new. I think we can all see it in all the pictures. Although Nicole’s hair was blowing everywhere it did not stop her from just letting loose and letting me capture the real beauty we call love.

Who said you couldn’t look good having fun.  You guys totally Rocked the running pictures. This one is my favorite by far. My reasoning is because Nicole was all about putting the hair up and focusing on just them.

I absolutely love the first image. I had a few brides this year that let me photograph the way I know best. I love when my brides give me free range to capture the moments that I see.

Valerie and Greg were just fun and so down to earth. This is one of the earliest wedding I have shot and I will have to say I liked it. I showed up at 7:45 in the morning to start shooting getting ready shots. I loved every moment of the day there was noting rushed at all.  Congratulations guys. Have a fun trip on your honeymoon. :)

Around Vegas we can definitely handle that. When Luz and I first talked on the phone we discussed what to wear for the session. She told me they were going to do one casual and one dressy outfit.  Which I always recommend so you can have two different looks. So when we got to the dry lake bed she pulls out this cute red dress. Which I loved.  We a such a great time out there. I totally love when there is nothing else around and you can just focus on your couple.  Their second outfit change blew me away. Wait till you see it.

Luz you looked amazing and I can’t wait to see what you wear on your wedding day!

I love this image.  By far the emotion is what sums up the whole day.

I thought you might also love to see some fun engagement pictures! These two met by luck. Carmela was going to a military ball with another guy and Nhat was the driver. To make a long story short she ended up with Nhat and not the other guy.  For their engagements went to Lake Las Vegas which by the way is always a great place if you aren’t sure where you want to go for a shoot. There is everything from the lake, to grass and cobble stone streets.  You guys were so much fun to hang out with.

(Personally I thought they did amazing with their English since they hardly ever speak it back home.) They came to Las Vegas with plans of it being the first stop on their way to see multiple beautiful locations in California. At least that’s what their families thought. The first leg of the trip ended up being the start of an amazing honeymoon. Mathilde actually works for Marc-Andre’s father so hopefully the surprise announcement of their wedding will go over well with the boss! Because they both love the outdoors and nature they wanted a wedding in nature outside of Las Vegas. She found http://www.thelasvegasweddingcompany.com they specialize in outdoor weddings around Las Vegas. (Unlike most wedding companies around town they had no problem with an outside photographer.)  This was the first time I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding at the Valley of Fire and I love how it turned out. Below I started out with a few of my favorites from there.  We also played around in Las Vegas getting some fun shots around the Cosmopolitan.  I really love being a wedding photographer of big weddings but it was nice change to spending so much time with just the bride and groom. Thank you two for letting Doug and I be part of your big day and special memories!
