Ryan + Rebekah are engaged

Ryan and Rebekah met over year and half ago on Match.com. They both signed up for free trail and didn’t want to pay for the membership. Rebekah saw Ryan on Match.com and winked at him. So with Ryan’s trail ending he decided to google her name and lo and behold he found her through Myspace. Which I find funny. I guess now a days you can Google anyone. After just a week of talking and meeting they totally hit it off and got engaged last November. Can I just say I love the ring. So personal.

Earlier in the day of the shoot it was pretty much spitting rain. By the time of the shoot it was just overcast and the light was awesome. Natures own soft box was our friend. I think I want to move to Cali so I can have overcast days everyday. (But don’t worry Doug will never let me.) Rebekah was ready and willing to go anywhere and do anything. On a side note I have to thank Ryan for introducing me to Planking on the shoot.

Graham + Jaime are engaged

I met up with Graham and Jaime on an early Saturday morning at the Cosmo to do their engagement session. They wanted a high fashion, cocktail vibe. I was happy to oblige. The chemistry between them was absolutely AMAZING! They got engaged at the end of last year. We are so excited to be part of their gorgeous wedding later this year. Funny little story, towards the end of the shoot Jaime wanted shots by this pillar next to a lounge and the registration desk. A security guard stopped us and didn’t believe that the shoot was just their engagements. He thought it was for a promotional shoot which is against the rules. After waiting for 15 minutes for a PR person the manager from the bar said we could shoot there and the shots turned out great. After looking through the images I can understand why the security guard had a hard time believing us. Show some love and leave a comment.

Matt + Lynette are engagned

I could not contain my self any longer. This first picture is in my top 10 favorites of the year. I have been very anxious for the long weekend to get over so I could share this post with everyone. Lets face it after a very long weekend when you get to work, I’m sure your schedule goes a little like this, check your email, then check out all your favorite sites (which includes http://www.mindybeanblog.com of course) and then you start working. At least I know that is what I use to do back in the day.

Alright, so let me tell you a little bit about this cute couple Matt and Lynette met back in 2006 when they started talking on MySpace. Eventually Matt asked Lynette out on a date and they have been together ever since. I always love when my brides are super excited for their engagement shoots. I will have to say Lynette did her homework and it paid off. Congrats you guys.

Brad + Kathryn are engaged

Happy Friday everyone. Before everyone gets ready for the long weekend I wanted to sneak this fun E-session in. Lets see, this couple was more then just laughs and giggles. They were bright and fun to be around. We got together in the morning which was nice b.c there was no one around. I am so excited to shoot their wedding this July. If all the guys are like Brad then we are going to have a blast. Kathryn and Brad you two together are like icing to a cake, sweet and delicious. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Jorge + Esmeralda are engaged Photographed by Doug

This is Doug. I’m proud to introduce this couple. Esmeralda contacted us a few months ago to book engagements but Mindy was booked already. She waited and contacted us again but Mindy was out of town this time. I offered to shoot for them and they graciously accepted.

They brought their kids Dutchess and Armani to be part of the shoot. I will have to say after I made a crazy sound to get the puppies to look at the camera we were all laughs and giggles the rest of the shoot. Jorge was the perfect guy because he didn’t complain once and was up to try anything to make Esmeralda happy. Just from seeing that I know these two will have an amazing marriage. After they dropped off the kids we went out on the strip to get some more romantic shots. Esmeralda and Jorge were definitely turning heads. I know they enjoyed the romantic moments that night and I was honored to be able to capture them. You two were hot together. Enjoy your sneak peek and I look forward to working with you again

Calvin + Yoanna are engaged

These are photos that I just love. I have been holding on to them for a while but just had to share them. Calvin and Yoanna are originally from South Korea but live in Vancouver Canada now. I had the pleasure of photographing engagements for them. Unfortunately I was out of town for their wedding but the engagements turned out amazing. Yoanna knew how to work it and was a natural model. I loved the jewelry and bulky accessories. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.

Ken + Diane are engaged

I’m telling you I have met so many couples all over the world. Now if I can get to all these places where they come from it would be great. Everyone makes where they live sound so much better then Vegas. Ken is a helicopter pilot which I thought was really cool. I have never been in a helicopter. One day I will get the courage to get in one. They are just so small. Diane is a cop in Canada. I would have never thought she would be a cop. She sure knows how to turn the table and get dressed up. There is nothing like getting away for everyday life to go on vacation and as a bonus do a shoot with me. Here are a few of my favs. Enjoy

Brent + Meghan are engaged

A few years ago on a beautiful day in Vegas a boy and girl met at the Paris hotel while attending a convention for Paul Michell. From there sparks flew and they have been seeing fireworks ever since. I was so excited to get the ball rolling for their engagement session before their wedding this fall at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas. They wanted to have a little fun and play in the park. Which I thought they did a great job. It is always great to exactly see how much a couple loves each other and they did.

This is one of my favorites from the whole session. It just takes me back in time because we were at the park where Doug proposed to me the first time. The way Brent is holding Meghan is priceless.

Words don’t even begin to do this image justice. You can see the love in their eyes and expressions.

Since they are planning to glam it up for the wedding what better way to show it by doing it them self.

I am so excited for the wedding this October. Cant wait to work with you guys again.

Johnny + Jen = Springs Preserve Engagement Pictures

Johnny and Jen contacted me because they wanted some engagement pictures different than anyone else has from their hometown, Winnipeg Canada. I was up for the challenge and suggested we go to the Springs Preserve. My family has an annual membership there and love what it has to offer for photography. It has a combination of desert landscape, red rocks, and amazing architecture. We had so much fun shooting there and the photos turned out fabulous. After Johnny and Jen owned Springs Preserve we hoped in the car and went to Bellagio for some shots. When I emailed Jen the link for the finished photos she jokingly replied that she wished I could come to Winnipeg for their wedding. When I found out the details of their wedding and most importantly the date I was all for leaving the Las Vegas heat for a wedding. I look forward to seeing you two in August!

Pete + Amanda

I have been so excited to share this couple with all of you. When Mandy and I talked on the phone I knew they where going to be so much fun. They wanted to start at Red Rock and of course I love the colors there. Maybe one of these days I will remember not to hike a up a mountain in flip flops. This is the first picture I took from the session. As soon as I saw this I knew they were meant to be together. They just meshed.

Mandy had bought some flowers and wanted use them in some of pictures. Pete wasn’t happy about carrying around flowers for the first part of the shoot.

but as you can see Mandy found a good use for them.

Pete is a Professional UFC fighter and a new part of Wanderlei Silva’s team. Pete even had a KO earlier this year in just 15 seconds. It took Mandy just a little bit longer but as you will see she did get Pete to tap out .

In the end they were both winners.
